Natural Skirting Leather
Hermann Oak Skirting Leather sets the standard for what saddle makers expect during the build and for the performance and longevity that riders demand out of the finished product in the arena, ranch or on the trail.
- Long Lasting Rich Color
- Smooth Cutting
- Crisp Tooling and Stamping
- Superior Moldability
- Strength and Durability
Whether your making your 1st or 50th saddle, choosing the right leather will make all the difference in the shop and the field. The characteristics that our traditional tannage imparts on the leather result in a superior finished product that will last for generations.
The uncorrected grain features natural enamel on the surface that allows saddles to age beautifully over years of hard use in the field. That protective layer allows desirable oils in while keeping the unwanted dirt and grime out. This aids in a natural patina that enriches over time.
